Recommendations on Balochistan approved by Pak President, PM: Rabbani
September 19th, 2009 - 10:37 pm ICT by ANIIslamabad, Sep 19 (ANI): The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Balochistan, Senator Raza Rabbani, has said that the Pakistan President and the Prime Minister have approved the recommendations on the Balochistan issue.Senator Rabbani further said that the implementation of these recommendations in letter and spirit is the key for resolution of problems facing the province, the Dawn reported on Saturday.
Senator Rabbani also emphasized that the committee had made an effort to resolve the concerns related to politics, economics and administrative problems and had also reviewed the work of all previous committees.
He said that to approve the recommendations the committee had taken, all the coalition partners, political parties, Baloch leaders and representatives, into confidence, as maximum consensus was needed on the issue. (ANI)
