Islamabad, Feb 24 (ANI): Pakistan Peoples Partys (PPP) spokesman Farhatullah Babar has said that his party and ex-premier Nawaz Sharifs Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) are mulling an option to work with the pro-Musharraf Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

The PPP wants to take all political forces along to form the government and is discussing the possibility of cooperating with the MQM, the Dawn quoted Babar, as saying.

Consultations are going on within the party and there are different opinions about whether to cooperate with MQM or not, but nothing has been finalised, he told a foreign news agency.

Refusing to divulge the coalition’s plans for President Pervez Musharraf, Babar said: You cannot impeach him right now because you don’t have two-thirds majority in the National Assembly and the Senate. Since we cannot do it now, there is no need to say anything about it.

The PPP, the PML-N and the Awami National Party (ANP) have joined hands to form government in Pakistan. (ANI)
