Powerful quake rocks northwest Pakistan

Islamabad, Oct 30 (AINS) An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Punjab and North West Frontier Province in Pakistan Thursday night, a TV report said.
The quake occurred at 11.45 p.m.

The tremor was felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad, Swat and Dera Ghazi Khan, among others areas, Geo TV reported.

No further details were immediately available.
