Powerful quake rocks northwest Pakistan
October 30th, 2009 - 4:51 am ICT by IANSIslamabad, Oct 30 (AINS) An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Punjab and North West Frontier Province in Pakistan Thursday night, a TV report said.
The quake occurred at 11.45 p.m.
The tremor was felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad, Swat and Dera Ghazi Khan, among others areas, Geo TV reported.
