December 21st, 2010 - 6:49 pm ICT by ANIIslamabad, Dec 21 (ANI): The Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) has offered help to the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) in ousting the Balochistan government.
Talking in a TV programme, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that if the JUI-F decided in favour of the in-House change in Balochistan, his party would support the bid.
Shujaat also said that his party would not allow amendment in Pakistan’s Blasphemy Law, The Nation reported.
He, however, underlined the need for formulating a new law to ensure ending misuses of the Act, and suggesting strict punishment for those who wrongly blame and involve others in legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that his party had submitted applications to the Speaker National Assembly and the Chairman Senate to sit on the opposite benches.
Talking to newsmen in the federal capital, Fazl said that the JUI-F’s parliamentary secretaries in National Assembly and Senate had also tendered their resignations. (ANI)
