Pervez Musharraf Lahore, Jun.14 (ANI): Describing former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf as a ‘part of history’, the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (Likeminded Group) has made it clear that it would not support the former general in his political ambitions.

Addressing party workers here, PML-Q (Likeminded Group) Information Secretary Mian Muhammad Arif said his party was working with the support of masses, which has already rejected ‘despot’ Musharraf.

“Any political party supporting Musharraf would jeopardise its political career,” The Nation quoted Arif, as saying.

He also denied the party having any connection with Musharraf.

Musharraf , who is presently living in London on an unannounced exile, has expressed his desire to return to Pakistan’s political stage once again.

He is also said to be planning a ‘formal’ launch of his own party- the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) soon. (ANI)
