Lahore, Feb.14 (ANI): Pakistans Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has set-up a special investigative body to interrogate the nine suspects who have been arrested in connection with the Mumbai terror attacks.
According to The Daily Times, the committee headed by FIA Director General Tariq Khosa interrogated Lashkar-e-Toibas (LeT) Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, alleged to have given training to the Mumbai attackers, on Friday.
The special investigative team is also planning to grill parents of Amir Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving Mumbai terrorist.
The FIA would also be seeking physical remand of all the suspects from the Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court.
Investigations have revealed that the attackers were trained in Karachis Bhains Colony, and also identified and arrested the suspects using the number of a boat engine provided in the Indian dossier.
Reports say that the trawlers engine had been sold by a dealer of Lahore to Karachis ARZ Company.
Police have also arrested a man named Hammad, and recovered satellite SIMs and Indian maps from him.
Hammad is said to be the bank guarantor of one Shahid Jameel, whose involvement in the Mumbai attacks are being still traced out. (ANI)
