Pakistan’s attitude unchanged, infiltration continuing: Pillai
December 12th, 2009 - 1:38 am ICT by IANSJammu, Dec 12 (IANS) Union Home Secretary G.K. Pillai Friday said there was no change in Pakistan’s attitude as infiltration of terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir was continuing.
“Pakistan continues to infiltrate terrorists into this side. There is no change in Pakistan’s attitude, as infiltration is continuing,” he told reporters here.
Pillai said that the dialogue with the separatists will continue. “The dialogue is the only way to address all the problems.”
The Home Secretary, who arrived here Friday, is on a two-day visit of the state. After reviewing the security situation, he met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, with whom he discussed all the matters concerning security, especially that of the pro-dialogue separatist leaders, a subject that had gained significance after an assassination bid on senior separatist leader Fazal Haq Qureshi.
