Pakistanis pray for great game of cricket

Islamabad, March 28 (IANS) Pakistanis on Facebook have said they are “all looking forward to a great game of cricket” at Mohali, while a cricket fan on Twitter said: “Let the sportsman spirit prevail please”.
India is pitted against Pakistan at the crucial World Cup semifinal match that will be watched by prime ministers of both countries Wednesday.
Muhammad Hasan said on Facebook: “Clash of rivals, but with manners and ethics. Bats not guns, balls not artillery crackers.”
Another cricket fan Raahil Faraaz said: “There is huge excitement over the match and we are all looking forward to a great game of cricket that will be a victory for sport.”
Twitter was abuzz over the Mohali match, with Tweets@dawn_com revealing the excitement.
RishadShaikh tweeted: “I have to admit, I am guilty of Youtubing Shoaib Akhtar’s crazy yorkers against Dravid and Tendulkar in hope of a repeat spell!”
Anjum_y tweeted: “I hope India and Pak(istan) cricket fans keep in mind they r playing Gentleman’s game semi-final. Let the sportsman spirit prevail please.”
