Pakistani students to visit India
January 28th, 2012 - 10:52 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 28 (IANS) A group of 19 school students from Pakistan will visit Delhi Feb 8-14 under the “Students Exchange for Change”, an initiative launched by two NGOS of Pakistan and India.
Routes 2 Roots from India and Citizens Archive of Pakistan had launched this campaign in 2010 to promote relations between both the countries.
The 16 month programme was divided into four parts and will end in April 2012.
“Student Exchange for Change programme has tried to inculcate the values and culture of each other in both the countries. The students from Pakistan will be visiting India so that they understand the similarities in the culture of India & Pakistan and also learn the values enriched in India,” Rakesh Gupta, director, Routes 2 Roots said in a press statement.
