Pakistan values China help, says Zardari
July 16th, 2011 - 1:01 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, July 16 (IANS) Pakistan highly values Chinese assistance to the country in overcoming economic difficulties and development, said President Asif Ali Zardari.
Zardari met a Chinese delegation from Dongfang Electric Corporation Friday.
Matters pertaining to Nandipur power project, where the Dongfang Electric Corporation is involved, were discussed during the meeting, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
The president said that they highly value Chinese help to the country in overcoming economic difficulties and development.
He said that Pakistan-China friendship was now being transformed into a mutually beneficial economic equation which would not only further strengthen this time-tested relationship but would also help to take advantage of economic expertise and tremendous progress made by China.
He said that the government was committed to provide all possible assistance and facilitation to the Chinese companies involved with various projects in the country.
