Pakistan releases 101 Indian prisoners

Islamabad, Nov 23 (Xinhua) Pakistan Sunday released 101 Indian prisoners who had completed their jail terms.Rehman Malik, advisor to the prime minister, announced the release of 101 prisoners, including 99 fishermen and two common citizens from Pakistan’s jails, according to the official Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

The prisoners were released in line with the confidence-building measures between India and Pakistan.

Earlier, India released 29 Pakistani citizens from their jail, reported the APP.
