Pakistan navy test-fires missiles
December 27th, 2010 - 5:37 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Dec 27 (IANS) The Pakistan Navy has successfully test-fired new missiles in the Sonmiani area of interior Sindh.According to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the successful testing of the missile capability was carried out Monday.
“The surface-to-air missiles successfully hit the targets in the air”, ISPR said without giving any detail about the nature or intensity of the missiles.
Naval chief admiral Noman Bashir was also present on the occasion. “The successful testing will add to the defence capability of Pakistan navy”, he was quoted as saying by ISPR.
