Pakistan landmine blast kills 10
September 9th, 2010 - 1:33 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Islamabad, Sep 9 (IANS) At least 10 people were killed and eight injured Thursday morning as a passenger van struck a landmine in northwest Pakistan’s Kurram tribal area.
All the injured have been shifted to a hospital in the area, Xinhua reported.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
Local TV channels reported that the landmine was exploded through a remote control device, adding that the blast happened at a time when the people were returning home to celebrate Eid festival due his week-end.
