Lahore, June 1 (ANI): Pakistan and India on Saturday allowed each other to examine the Baglihar Dam and Neelum-Jhelum projects.
According to the Daily Times, the decision was taken on the first day of a five-day meeting between Pakistan Indus Water Commissioner Jamat Ali Shah and Indian Indus Commissioner Oranga Nathan.
The two sides also agreed that a Pakistani delegation would visit India in September to inspect the Baglihar Dam project.
India has issued assurances that the dam is being built with the approval of independent experts, Shah said, adding that Pakistan had agreed to allow an Indian team to inspect the Neelum-Jhelum project. (ANI)
