Islamabad, Jan 14 (ANI): Pakistan Peoples Party spokesperson Farhatullah Babar has said that the Pakistan governments involvement in the assassination of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto was clearly visible as the latter was escaping from UN probe in the case.

His statement came after President Pervez Musharraf rejected the partys demand for a UN probe into the assassination.

If Al Qaeda was involved in Benazirs murder, a UN probe was very important as it had it bases outside Pakistan, the Daily Times quoted Babar as saying.

Responding to Musharrafs another statement that Benazir was very unpopular with the military, he said that she was Asias most popular leader and the whole world was mourning her death.

He further said that Musharraf was the most unpopular and hated military dictator, and had no right to comment on Benazirs popularity. As he is no longer with the Army so he doesnt have any right to comment on Armys behalf. (ANI)
