Islamabad, Sep 16 (IANS) Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif Friday accused the Pakistan government of not being interested in ordinary people’s problems at a time when the country is in the midst of crises, a media report said.
He was referring to the floods in Sindh and the dengue epidemic in Punjab.
Addressing a gathering of his party workers in Peshawar in north-west frontier region, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief said the people of Pakistan would have to unite to be able to prevail in the face of these crises.
Sharif said although the nation was united, the government was not interested in the problems of ordinary Pakistanis.
He also blamed the government for the country’s deteriorating security situation.
