Pakistan FM to visit India for ‘positive, result-oriented bilateral negotiations’

Islamabad, Jan 26(ANI): Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said he will visit India to make Islamabad’s bilateral negotiations with the neighbouring country a success.

Talking to SAMAA TV, Qureshi said he had telephoned his Indian counterpart and conveyed to him his felicitations for India’s Republic Day.

He said he would go to India on the invitation extended by Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna for positive and result-oriented negotiations.

According to sources, both foreign ministers are expected to hold a meeting during the forthcoming meeting between the foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan in Thimpu, Bhutan on February 6. (ANI)
