Pakistan elect to bat against India

Karachi, June 26 (IANS) Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat against India in their Group B league match of Asia Cup cricket at the National Stadium here Thursday. For India, Robin Uthappa makes way for Yuvraj Singh while Ishant Sharma comes in for Manpreet Gony. Pakistan have made no change in their team.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain and wicketkeeper) Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, Parveen Kumar, RP Singh, Ishant Sharma

Pakistan: Shoaib Malik (captain), Fawad Alam, Salman Butt, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Shahid Afridi, Sarfraz Ahmed, Umar Gul, Sohail Tanvir, Iftikhar Anjum.
