Pakistan elect to bat against India in tri-series final

Dhaka, June 14 (IANS) Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik won the toss and decided to bat against India in the final of the Kitply Cup at the Sher-e-Bengal National Stadium in Mirpur here Saturday. Teams:

Pakistan: Shoaib Malik (captain), Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal (wicketkeeper), Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul, Iftikhar Anjum and Fawad Alam

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain/wicketkeeper), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla, Praveen Kumar and Ishant Sharma

Umpires: Asoka de Silva (Sri Lanka) and Nadir Shah (Bangladesh)
