Karachi, July 4 (IANS) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Friday made it clear that it has no plans to sack captain Shoaib Malik and coach Geoff Lawson a day after the home team crashed out of the six-nation Asia Cup here. PCB chief Nasim Ashraf threw his weight behind the embattled duo and said: “Let me make it clear once again that Shoaib Malik and Geoff Lawson were both appointed for two-year terms and they will continue till then.”

Ashraf told reporters at the National Stadium that he was “disappointed” at the attitude of the Pakistani media towards the coach and captain and sought more support for them.
