Pakistan army chief visits Sri Lanka

Ashfaq Parvez Kayani is on an official visit to Sri Lanka to “strengthen bonds of friendship” between the armies of the two countries, it was reported here.Kayani, the chief of army staff (COAS), visited the Defence Services Command and Staff College in Colombo Friday, the Geo News reported.
According to a statement by pakistan’s Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Kayani addressed the students there and also formally inaugurated the Quetta Association formed by Sri Lankan students of the Command and Staff College, Quetta.
