Islamabad, Mar 31(ANI): Pakistan’s Supreme Court has rejected the appeals of two persons sentenced to death on charges of attacking former president Pervez Musharraf.
During the hearing on Thursday, the appellants’ counsel Colonel Ikram said that he had not been heard at any forum, the Dawn reports.
However, the apex court upheld the death sentence against the two accused.
Moreover, during the court proceeding, Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry said that certain public representatives were openly disrespecting the courts’ rulings.
However, the judiciary would continue to make decisions according to the constitution, he added. (ANI)
