Pak Punjab Law Minister sheltering drug traffickers, land mafia, terrorists: PPP
September 6th, 2010 - 2:43 pm ICT by ANILahore, Sep 6(ANI): Levelling allegations of sheltering drug traffickers, land grabbers and terrorists against Pakistan Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has urged Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to seek his resignation.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, PPP’s Punjab Information Secretary, Dr. Fakhruddin Chaudhry, said that Sanaullah was a corrupt politician and had links with banned terrorist organisations.
Dr. Chaudhry claimed that the Law Minister was involved in corruption of millions of rupees, and was also patronising terrorists.
He further said that Sanaullah was a black mark on the Punjab government’s face.
Earlier, Pakistan Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer had said that the entire country wanted Sanaullah removed, for having links with terrorists.
Taseer claimed that the entire nation was now aware of Sanaullah’s alleged relations with militants and wanted him to be removed. (ANI)
