Islamabad, Dec. 13 (ANI): While Pakistan’s involvement in the November 2008 Mumbai attacks has been laid bare on several occasions, the country’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, continues to deny this fact.

In an interview with an Arab television, Qureshi rejected the notion of Pakistan being responsible for the attack, claiming that the international community also supports this stance.

“Now, it has been admitted worldwide that Pakistan was above question in regard to the Mumbai terror incident,” The News quoted Qureshi, as saying.

Qureshi reiterated that Islamabad has substantial evidence to prove New Delhi’s hand in terror activities inside the country.

“We have got concrete evidences regarding Indian involvement in terror activities in Pakistan,” he said.

Responding to question regarding a rift between Pakistan and the US following the announcement of the new Afghan policy by President Obama, Qureshi said things are getting better with each passing day.

“Pakistan, in order to rid of reservations over new Afghan policy, has asked US for details on that,” he added.

Qureshi said US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s recent visit to Pakistan has also helped in reducing the tension and developing an atmosphere of trust between both the nations. (ANI)
