Islamabad, Mar. 28 (ANI): Jamat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hassan has called Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik ‘an agent of India and America’.

Addressing a rally taken out from Khyber Plaza to Parliament House against the desecration of Qur’an in Florida and release of Raymond Davis, Hassan said that as far as he was concerned, Pakistan had no interior minister.

He called for convening an All Parties Conference on the subject of protecting the sacredness of Qur’an and the Prophet.

According to The News, he also demanded that government summon US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter to register Pakistan’s protest against the desecration of Qur’an.

He described the US-backed operation against alleged terrorists in North Waziristan as a prelude to a similar operation in Southern Punjab. (ANI)
