Pak intelligence warns of massive terror attack on Parliament
June 21st, 2010 - 12:42 pm ICT by ANIIslamabad, June 21 (ANI): Pakistani intelligence agencies have warned that extremists could target the Parliament House in order to secure safe release of their accomplices currently locked in different jails across the country.
According to intelligence inputs, extremists are planning a massive strike on important locations and personalities across the country.
Attackers are planning to strike in a coordinated group in cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi and Multan, The Nation reports.
The intelligence report has also recommended to the concerned authorities to beef up security in and around the jail and court campuses where cases concerning the arrested militants are being heard. (ANI)
