Pak govt. red faced after Gates nails its ‘no Blackwater operating inside country’ lie
January 23rd, 2010 - 4:59 pm ICT by ANI ( 1 comment )Islamabad, Jan.23 (ANI): The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government has come under attack from the opposition after US Defence Secretary Robert Gates’s admitted that controversial private American security firms, Blackwater and DynCorp were indeed present in Pakistan.
The Pakistan government, which has until now denied the presence of any US security firm inside the country, was caught on wrong foot by Gates’s statement that companies such as Blackwater were working in Pakistan, but in a private capacity.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Zafar Ali Shah demanded Interior Minister Rehman Malik’s resignation over the issue.
“The interior minister had said on the floor of this House that he would tender his resignation if anyone proved Blackwater’s presence in Pakistan. What more proof does the minister require,” The Daily Times quoted, as sying.
“It was not a simple thing which the government could ignore, for it involves several bomb explosions and abduction of several persons wanted by Americans,” he added.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said the government had never denied the presence of the Blackwater in the country.
Kaira, however, said he was unaware about Gates’ statement. (ANI)

They are all a bag of lies. Rehman Malik is prepared to tender resignation while his own colleague - Information Minister Mr Qama Zaman Kaira said the Govt nerver denied the presence of Blackater in the country. What a shameful statements of paradoxical character of these fellows who always blame India for all their ills. I am surprised that they did not come out with an innovative story that India has hired them to plant in our territory to destabilise Pakistan. Being US made, nobody could suspect India for this new technique. They are all Oxford trained in their immaculate English rhetorics, to a set trend of dialogues over the years.
Kashmir is a creation of Pakistan and now over the >62 yrs, Pakistan has used Kashmir a further excuse to cover up their corruption and lack of desire to develop the country. Secondly, they used it as an instrument for begging from the West and Oil producing Islamic nations. At the same time, it was also an easy vehicle for mass creation of Islamic Jihadis to use them as non-state players.
This helped them in two ways, one to divert the attention of their people and secondly to utilise these jihadis and yet portray their pious picture. Yet these jihadis are the product of their Mosque-Madarsa-Military triangle boosted by their Intelligence Services (ISI).
The 1979 USSR invasion of Afganistan gave them another excuse for breeding these rogues on their land. US backing legitimised it. Now the monster is run amok, making Pakistan also feel its heat.
