Karachi, Oct 4(ANI): Pakistan Law Minister Babar Awan has said that the army and judiciary pose no threat to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)-led coalition government.
Awan said that anti-democratic elements were trying to repeat “East Pakistan history by opposing the federation”, but insisted that the government would not allow such elements to damage the country.
Meanwhile, talking about the status of former President Pervez Musharraf’s political party, Awan said that it was a “foreign” league and it will find it hard to be a strong contender locally, The Dawn reports.
The Law Minister said that Musharraf should have formed his party in the country and not abroad.
He also predicted that Musharraf had no role in the country politics as people had rejected the dictator. (ANI)
