Pak embassy issued 9,236 visas to US nationals in four months
December 7th, 2009 - 2:55 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Islamabad, Dec. 7 (ANI): Pakistani embassy in Washington has issued visas to 9,236 US nationals, including 234 members of US armed forces, during the last four months.
According to a report prepared by the Pakistani foreign ministry, out of 9, 236 visas, 628 were issued to US diplomats, 234 to American soldiers and 8374 to other US nationals.
The document shows that at least 743 people of other nationalities were also issued visas by the Pakistani mission and consulates in the US over the same period, the Daily Times reports.
At least 3,007 US nationals were issued Pakistani visas in October, 2,121 in September, 1,685 in August and 2,423 in July, says the report. (ANI)
