Pak Elite Force blames archaic weapons for no-show in Lahore terror strike!

Lahore, Mar.10 (ANI): Questions were being raised over as to why officials of the elite force who were escorting the Sri Lankan cricket team did not retaliate against the terrorists gunfire during the Lahore attack, now it has been revealed that the weapons provided to the security officials were out dated, and failed to fire at that moment.
According to sources, an Elite force official has filed a complaint with higher authorities, saying that he fired five shots at one of the terrorists, but his rifle malfunctioned, and he was subsequently injured in the gun battle.
Police personnel escorting the Sri Lankan cricket team bus and a match official minivan could manage to fire only 13 shots during the whole incident.
However, officials at the Police Ammunition Store have denied reports about providing malfunctioning weapons and bullets to the security officials.
Mujahid Force, Superintendent of Police (SP), Babar Bakhat Qureshi has also refuted reports about faulty ammunitions and weapons.
There was no possibility of substandard weapons, as the force could not afford to have obsolete weapons, The Daily Times Qureshi, as saying.
It has also been revealed that the attackers were aware about the route of the Sri Lankan convoy.
The authorities had recovered a wireless device from the attack site.After the examination of the device it was found that they were fixed on Channel 23 of Mujahid Wireless, which enabled the terrorists to hear secret information being aired on the wireless between the Elite Force and the Mujahid Force.
