Melbourne, July 10 (ANI): The Education and Childrens Services Minister in South Australia has attacked the controversial Church of Scientology, branding its faithful as bastard.
Jane Lomax-Smith made the comment earlier this year while talking to a group of protesters outside the churchs offices in Adelaide.
Unfortunately for her, the comments were caught on tape, with the video finding its way to YouTube, reports The Australian.
“They should be taxed the bastards,” shes seen as telling the protesters from an internet collective called Anonymous.
They shouldnt be tax-free, were subsidising them.
Ms Lomax-Smith has since described her comments as personal views made in a private conversation.
Some of the churchs most well-known believers include Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Jenna Elfman.
Cruise is also said to have introduced Australias richest man James Packer to the religion. (ANI)

Scientology is not a religion. It is a dangerous cult.

I support Jane Lomax-Smith in her views. She is correct!

As far as I am concerned Scientology is a cult not a religion. A religion offers support but scientology breaks up families and forces people into bankruptcy
Inform yourself.

Well this is interesting. Do you not realize you people are the new Nazis. I don’t know much about Scientology, knowing a few Scientologists, but I do know it has been investigated over and over again. I also know that it does a huge amount of good around the world, although it is hard to find with all the pretended negative that is published. Any self-respecting intellect just sees your prejudice as mentioned above. Religions are not perfect but lets pray that none of you ever get any power as the freedom to be spiritual and believe in what you wish is an innate human right no matter the beliefs of others. I don’t believe in the quaker way of life but I would never prevent someone from practicing it. And I see NO evidence that Scientology does any harm - and more that that - it seems to do a lot of good in the greater part. So thank you for your comments above and proving once again that the holocaust generated viewpoints are only still a whisper away.
