Over 5,000 dengue cases in Lahore
September 17th, 2011 - 1:25 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Sep 17 (IANS) The number of dengue cases in Lahore city has crossed 5,000 and 25 patients have died so far, a media report said.
Geo TV reported that there has been a rise in the number of patients in the Lahore hospitals.
It said that 25 patients have died due to dengue while 5,344 Dengue cases have been confirmed in the city.
Emergency has been declared in the hospitals.
Many patients are undergoing treatment at private hospitals.
