One killed, 11 injured in Quetta car bomb blast
June 20th, 2010 - 2:46 pm ICT by ANIQuetta (Balochistan), June 20 (ANI): A security official was killed and 11 others injured when a blast triggered by a remote controlled device ripped apart a vehicle of a security forces’ convoy in Quetta on Sunday.
The blast occurred on the provincial capital’s Sariab road.
Three other vehicles of the convoy were also badly damaged in the bomb blast, The Dawn reports.
The 11 injured, which included three security personnel and three children, have been admitted to a local hospital.
Security officials have cordoned off the area and launched a combing operation to nab people involved in the blast.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the attack, and neither there have been any arrest made till the reports were last filed in. (ANI)
