Islamabad, Jan.24 (ANI): Echoing Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Islamabad can not give any assurance to India over terror attacks in the future.
Talking to reporters here, Malik said it was not possible for Pakistan to provide prior information to India regarding terror attacks.
He said it was the responsibility of Indian agencies to stop terror attacks.
Responding to a question, Malik reiterated that Jamaat-ud-Daawa chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, whom India considers as the mastermind of the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, would not be put behind bars as there is no evidence to prove his involvement in the 26/11 attacks.
“Information about him (Saeed) has been exchanged with India and he was investigated as well,” Malik said.
He also denied the presence of private US security firm, Blackwater, in Pakistan. (ANI)
