New Zealand warns its citizens of ‘extreme risk’ of terror attack in India
May 2nd, 2010 - 2:12 pm ICT by ANIWellington, May 2 (ANI): A day after the United States and Britain warned of possible terror attacks in New Delhi and advised its citizens against visiting crowded places in the national capital, New Zealand has also issued a similar travel advisory.
The New Zealand Government has advised its citizens to avoid visiting shopping malls and other places where people converge in large numbers.
It has also asked people to refrain from travelling to Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and areas along the border with Pakistan.
The US, UK and Australia on Saturday had issued fresh advisories, warning of “imminent” terror attacks in New Delhi, particularly in market places like Connaught Place, Greater Kailash and Chandni Chowk, which are “attractive targets” for terrorist groups, as foreigners throng places in huge numbers.
