Negotiations with Pak govt. only in presence of international guarantors: Baloch leader
January 20th, 2010 - 5:30 pm ICT by ANIIslamabad, Jan.20 (ANI): While declaring that the Baloch people have no faith in the present leadership of the country, Baloch leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said people of the region would hold negotiations with the government ‘only in the presence of international guarantors.’
“We do not trust the rulers,” said Mengal, chief of a faction of the Balochistan National Party (BNP).
Addressing a gathering via telephone from Dubai, Megal said none of the previous governments in the country have been serious regarding resolving the issues facing the Baloch people.
He called on all Baloch people to defeat the “usurpers” by launching a joint campaign against them. (ANI)
