Nawaz Sharif Islamabad, Mar 22(ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) chief and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who was shifted to his residence after undergoing heart surgery in a private London hospital, has been advised to take complete rest for at least two to three weeks by doctors.

According to PML-N leader Siddiq-ul-Farooq, Nawaz was now “well and recovering fast” and his medical tests and check-ups would continue, the Daily Times reports.

When asked about the expected return of the PML-N chief from London, Farooq said that Nawaz would go back to Pakistan after the advice of the doctors.

Nawaz had complained of chest pain last Wednesday when he had travelled from Geneva to London with his wife and son Hasan Nawaz, and was subsequently admitted to a Central London hospital, where he underwent the heart surgery.

On Monday night, President Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Nawaz and enquired about his health.Zardari prayed for the PML-N chief’s early and complete recovery. Nawaz thanked the president for this gesture, said a press release. (ANI)
