NATO fuel tankers torched in Pakistan
March 17th, 2011 - 12:18 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, March 17 (IANS) Two container trucks, carrying fuel for NATO and allied forces in Afghanistan, were torched by unidentified militants in Pakistan’s Peshawar city late Wednesday, police said.
Unidentified gunmen attacked the NATO trucks late at night, and set two of them on fire, Geo News reported Thursday citing police officials.
Fire tenders were called in and the blaze was soon brought under control.
The two containers were burnt to ashes, officials confirmed.
