Music, dance festival ends in Pakistan
July 25th, 2011 - 3:21 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, July 25 (IANS) Multani dance of Punjab to Jhoomer and Tharri dances of Sindh were performed during the three-day music and dance festival that concluded in Pakistan’s Peshawar city.
The National Folk Music Festival organised by Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ended Sunday.
Singers and artists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, and Gilgit-Baltistan performed at the festival.
Popular folk and pop songs were sung and artists performed traditional dances.
The artists presented Khattak dance, Gatka of Hazara, Cholistan and Multani dances of Punjab, Leva dance of Balochistan, and Jhoomer and Tharri dances of Sindh.
