Islamabad , Aug 18 (ANI): Though speculations are rife in Islamabad that Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf might leave his home country to lead a retired life abroad, the architect of his new abode 1-A Park Road situated on the outer-skirts of Islamabad , has revealed that the house would be ready-to-shift in the next six months.

According to Hammad Husian, the sprawling new house in spread in five-acres is estimated to be more than 10 crore Pakistan rupees, and will have a fish pond, a walking track, an extraordinary amount of barbed wire, and a shaded terrace to allow the former commando to enjoy an evening cigar and tumbler of whisky.

The Mediterranean-style home set in five acres of land, was designed simply, the architect said and added that Musharraf himself often visits the sprawling house now having its final touches, and that the Presidents wife Sehba had chosen the curtains and fittings for the house.

Most of what you see is his input, along with mine. He has gone into the detail, he has been part of it and comes here to look at things, The Independent quoted Husain as saying while delving into the details of the new Musharraf home.

Husain said that Musharraf had a taste for greenery and that every room in the house was designed to have a view of the surrounding countryside. The property has been designed to be energy efficient, added Husain.
Meanwhile, the countdown for Musharrafs exit from the Presidency starts today as the coalition government is likely to initiate Impeachment proceedings against him in the specially called session of the National Assembly. (ANI)
