MQM to continue supporting ‘French Revolution’ in Pak: Altaf Hussain
October 11th, 2010 - 4:05 pm ICT by ANIKarachi, Oct 11(ANI): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that his party would continue to support the ‘French Revolution’ in the country until its finalization.
Hussain said that millions of flood affectees in the country were homeless and suffering from hunger, but political and religious leaders were busy playing the blame game.
“In such circumstances, the MQM is the only one concentrating on the flood victims,” The Daily Times quoted Hussain, as saying.
“Selfishness and nepotism have become a part of the country’s political system and it seems that the elements involved only want to rule the country and work for their party and family, not for the country,” he added.
Through the revolution, the MQM chief had said that his party would force the corrupt elements to return all the looted wealth to the national exchequer.
“A revolution similar to the French Revolution is knocking at the door of Pakistan and the MQM will lead that change,” Hussain had said.
“All airports will be closed and these corrupt elements will be hanged publicly, so that no one would make an attempt to promote corruption in the country again,” he added. (ANI)
