MPA, three others injured in Peshawar blast
January 20th, 2010 - 3:26 pm ICT by ANIPeshawar, Jan.20 (ANI): At least four persons, including Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Aurangzeb Khan, were injured in a bomb blast in Peshawar on Wednesday.
Police officials said Khan was the main target, who received grievous injuries in the blast and has been admitted to a local hospital.
Khan’s condition is stated to be out of danger.
The blast was so powerful that it created a seven-feet deep pit, The News reports.
Security forces have cordoned-off the area and launched a massive combing operation in the region.
The nature of the blast could not be ascertained till the reports last filtered in. (ANI)
