Militant leader killed in Pakistan’s tribal area

Islamabad, Aug 13 (Xinhua) A militant leader was killed in Pakistan’s tribal area Wednesday, Dawn News channel reported. The leader named Haji Namdar was killed in fierce fighting in his own headquarters in Khyber district, said the report.
Haji Namdar was the chief of a religious group called “Amar Bil Maroof Wa Nahe Anelmunkir” close to Taliban, according to media reports.
