- London, Nov 18 (ANI): English actor Michael Caine has leapt in support of WAGs in the ongoing debate whether or not they distract footballers.
The debate started earlier this year after England boss Fabio Capello banned players” partners under his new strict regime, saying that they were a distraction.
But Sir Michael Caine has showed that he is all in favour of the WAGs.
He is even said to have told his friends that they are good for the game.
I love the WAGs, the Sun quoted him as saying at the Variety Awards on November 16 night.
They are brilliant. They do no harm, he added. (ANI)
