Many feared dead as explosion rocks Peshawar

Peshawar, Oct 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A large explosion has taken place in a school in Pakistan’s Peshawar region, according to local media. The blast took place in the gulshan-e-rehaman colony, on Kohat road, which is a residential colony.

In all, 5 explosions have taken place in Pakistan today. Earlier today there have been 3 explosions in Lahore and one in North West Frontier.

No official word on casualties, but in unconfirmed reports, at least 1 person(a 8 year old child) is feared death. The 4 injured are still being rescued from the debris and the injured are being taken to the Lady R Hospital.

A fire is still burning, where the explosion took place.

According to the Pakistan Intelligence, the attacks were expected, but still no security measures were put in place.
