Man guns down sister for honour in Lahore
November 22nd, 2010 - 12:24 pm ICT by IANSLahore, Nov 22 (IANS) A man confessed to killing his sister here after discovering her relationship with a local youth, police said.
Eighteen-year-old Rehana was shot dead by her brother Jameel, Daily Times reported Monday.
A police official said that Jameel, who has been arrested, confessed to killing Rehana for honour after he found his sister was having an affair with a youth.
Rehana and her brother had a verbal altercation Sunday following which Jameel fired at Rehana. She was critically injured and died at a hospital.
