Colombo, May 21 (ANI): The Sri Lankan Government is to bury Liberation Tiger of Tamil Ealam (LTTE) chief V.Prabhakaran in a unmarked mass grave, Sri Lankan Army sources said.

Prabhakaran will be burried along with all the other LTTE fighters who were killed in the final assault. The location of the mass grave is likely to be around the same lagoon where Prabhakaran’s body was found, a television channel reported.

Sri Lankan army sources said that the mass burial is being undertaken to prevent any sort of hero worship or memorial being built in the honour of Prabhakaran.

Meanwhile, the bodies of Prabhakaran’s wife Mathivadhani, elder daughter Dwaraka and younger son Balachandran have been found and identified by the Sri Lankan army in the Nandikadal Lagoon.

Earlier, Prabhakaran’s body was found at the same spot. (ANI)
