KP Chief Minister warns that ‘undeclared third world war’ underway in the region
January 14th, 2011 - 6:55 pm ICT by ANIPeshawar, Jan 14(ANI): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has stated that ‘an undeclared third world war’ is underway in the region.
Answering members’ questions in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Hoti condemned US drone attacks in the region, saying that these strikes were against Pakistan’s sovereignty.
He told the House that ‘an undeclared third world war’ was underway in the region, and that drone attacks were a continuation of it, the Daily Times reports.
He also wondered as to who allowed drone attacks to be staged in Pakistan’s territory, and added that foreign interference and cross-border movements were also on the rise, causing problems to the country. (ANI)
