Khanal, Prachanda cabinet portfolio talks end inconclusively
April 13th, 2011 - 2:02 pm ICT by ANIKathmandu, Apr. 13 (ANI): A meeting between the ruling coalition partners –the UCPN (Maoist) and the CPN-UML — held to forge a consensus on Home portfolio ended inconclusively on Wednesday morning.
According to Kantipur Online, Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda held discussions on the issue for about an hour this morning.
Khanal’s press advisor Surya Thapa said the top leaders also held talks on which of the Maoist leaders would join the Cabinet. (ANI)
