Kashmiri separatist leaders to meet Pakistan foreign minister
July 21st, 2011 - 10:36 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jul 21 (IANS) The Pakistan high commission here has invited top Kashmiri separatist leaders, including Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, for a meeting with Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar next week.
Khar will be in New Delhi July 26-27 for talks with her Indian counterpart, S.M. Krishna.
Leaders of the separatist Hurriyat Conference said that the Mirwaiz, Geelani, Shabir Shah and Yaseen Malik got telephonic invites from the high commission.
They have accepted the invite and would be meeting Khar at the Pakistan House on Tilak Marg on July 26 evening.
The separatist leaders will brief Khar about the current political situation in Kashmir.
